Easy Peanut Butter Icing Recipe

This recipe is for icing a dozen or so cupcakes. The cupcakes could be any flavor you want such as vanilla, chocolate, banana, etc.

Peanut butter, of course, is a favorite of mine. It tastes great as fudge and/or pies. It doesn't hurt that it's considered one of the healthy weight loss snacks.

So how peanut butter helps in weight loss? Simply put, eating peanut butter makes you feel full so that you'll be eating less. It's healthy because it's a good source of protein and, as a living being, you need protein.

Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsps of unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions: How to make peanut butter frosting without milk

1) In a medium mixing bowl, beat sugar, peanut butter, butter, vanilla extract and salt until light and fluffy with a handmixer. Add cream and beat on high until smooth.

2) When topping onto cupcakes, you can use a frosting piping kit or just spread the icing with a knife.

3) Also, use any chocolate chip, chopped up chocolate or rainbow sprinkles for garnishing.
