Making this peanut butter mousse is simply fun. It's an alternative to just spooning peanut butter from the container.

But, is peanut butter good for you? Snacking on peanut butter is something I'm recently enjoying. It's certainly one of the better healthy snack ideas for weight loss because it's a good source of protein, can improve heart health, lower cholesterol, reduce risk of diabetes and loads of other benefits. And, of course, it's yummy!

Keep in mind that if you're allergic to peanuts and other nuts, then peanut butter is probably bad for you.

4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Mousse Recipe

  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature, softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

Directions: How to make peanut butter mousse

1. In a medium mixing bowl, add peanut butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix well.

2. In a separate mixing bowl, add heavy cream and whip it until stiff peaks. Add to peanut butter mix.

3. With a spatula, fold whipped heavy cream into the peanut butter mix until well-blended.

Serve and enjoy.
