Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

I've always liked peanut butter. It's convenient and tastes good. And by itself, it is one of the healthy snacks for weight loss.

Not to mention that when used in cookies, the results are amazing. This recipe calls for crunch or creamy. Creamy is used to make these delightful cookies.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Stick Butter(room temperature)
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Molasses
  • 3/4 cup Peanut Butter (crunchy or creamy)

DIRECTIONS: How to make peanut butter cookies?

1) In a medium mixing bowl, add flour, baking soda and white sugar. Mix thoroughly and set aside.

2) In a separate mixing bowl, 1 butter, brown sugar. Cream together.

3) Add vanilla extract and egg. Mix well.

4) Add molasses and peanut butter. Mix well.

5) Add wet mix to dry mix and combine to make cookie dough. The author in the video below uses her clean hands to complete this step.

6) Chill cookie dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

7) Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper.

Optionally, prepare a bowl or a cup of sugar for dipping cookie dough.
