Garlic Cheese Crescent Roll Ups

This tasty snack is a variation of the video below. I typically make these using a store-bought garlic spread. But the video's recipe looks fun and tasty, too.

  • 1 8oz Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 4 Mozzarella String Cheeses (or any type to your taste) cut in halves
  • Garlic Spread (any brand)

DIRECTIONS: How to make cheesy garlic crescent rolls

Step 1. Preheat oven to 375 deg F. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2. Pop open crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Brush the tops with some garlic spread.

Step 3. Place half a string cheese at the wide end and roll up. Brush the tops with more garlic butter and bake 5 minutes.

Step 4. Next part varies from the recipe below because you have to remove the baking sheet from the oven and brush another layer of garlic spread on the crescent roll ups. Brush as liberally as preferred.

Step 5. Bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6. Serve warm.

Now, here's the video for the recipe:
