Eversince I found out that sweet potatoes are high in beta carotene and good for your skin, I've been looking forward to trying them as grilled delicacies. I got the idea from Pinterest and couldn't wait to try it since we barbecue a lot during summers. Luckily, we had guests last weekend and I had the chance to try.

Grilled Sweet Potato Slices
Ingredient for the Rub
Cut potato slices to about 1/4 inch thick. Mix rub ingredients and apply onto slices. Grill on direct heat for 5 minutes per side.Ingredient for the Rub
- 1/3 cup paprika
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere Original Creole Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon cumin
