Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Eversince I found out that sweet potatoes are high in beta carotene and good for your skin, I've been looking forward to trying them as grilled delicacies. I got the idea from Pinterest and couldn't wait to try it since we barbecue a lot during summers. Luckily, we had guests last weekend and I had the chance to try.

Grilled sweet potatoes seasoned with Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning

Grilled Sweet Potato Slices

Ingredient for the Rub
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere Original Creole Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
Cut potato slices to about 1/4 inch thick. Mix rub ingredients and apply onto slices. Grill on direct heat for 5 minutes per side.

Serve and enjoy.
