Fun with Oreo Cookies: Slutty Brownies

Slutty Brownies. Made from brownie mix, Oreo cookies, and cookie dough. All ingredients can be bought off-the-shelf for convenience.

I saw this from a video, which inspired me to make my own slutty brownie.

For the most part, I followed the instructions.

There are 3 layers to this titillating dessert: brownie mix, Oreo cookies, and cookie dough.

For the brownie mix, I tend to favor Betty Crocker. But other brands such as Ghirardelli and Duncan Hines should should work as well. One of these days, I'll make a brownie mix from scratch. There are plenty of online resources out there. Here's the Nigella Lawson recipe from

For the Oreo Cookies, I just use the standard version. There are a handful of variations such as mint, chocolate, and peanut butter. Perhaps in the future, I'll get creative and try one of those.

Oreo cookies - chocolate, peanut butter, mint creme

For the cookie dough, you can buy them as well as used in the video above. Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Hershey's and many other brands are readily available in your local grocery store. If I have time and the supplies readily available, I'll mix my own chocolate chip cookie dough. The same one that I use for chocolate chip cookies.

When I make brownies, I tend to make them in the evening so that it can cool overnight. It's always going to be a good day when I have tasty brownies to munch on before heading to work.
