Fun with Oreo Cookies: Slutty Brownies

Easy Slutty Brownies

I saw this from my Pinterest browsing and found the video below, which inspired me to make my own slutty brownie.

For the most part, I followed the instructions.

There are 3 layers to this titillating dessert: brownie mix, Oreo cookies, and cookie dough. All can be store bought with off-the-shelf boxes or made from scratch as you prefer.

---For the brownie mix, I tend to favor Betty Crocker. But other brands such as Ghirardelli and Duncan Hines should should work as well. Here's a brownie recipe that you can use from scratch, should you prefer to make your own brownie mix. Pinterest also have a lot to choose from.

---For the Oreo Cookies, I just use the standard version. There are a handful of variations such as mint, chocolate, and peanut butter. Perhaps in the future, I'll get creative and try one of those. Here's a recipe for homemade Oreo cookies to try.

---For the cookie dough, you can buy them from your local grocery store. For this batch, I'm using Betty Crocker's Chocolate Chip Cookie Brittle Mix.

Ingredients:
  • 1 package Brownie Mix
  • 1 bag Oreo Cookies
  • 1 package Cookie Dough Mix
Directions:

Preheat oven according to the mixes' baking instructions. In this case, it's 350 deg F. If the temperatures are different, I'd choose the higher one since it will ensure that the brownies will be fully baked.

Prepare baking pan. This step could be as simple as lining baking pan with wax paper or greasing it up with butter or oil.

Mix the cookie dough per instructions. Then flatten it out on the baking pan as below.

Place a single layer of Oreo cookies on top of the cookie dough.

Make the brownie batter. Pour and spread a layer over the Oreo cookies.

Bake in oven according to the mixes. In this particular case, I baked it for 25 minutes according to the brownie mix. The cookie dough mix only needed 10-13 minutes. So I went with the longer time to make sure the brownie gets baked properly.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes or more before serving.

Enjoy!
