Homemade Baked Tater Tots

Conventional tater tots, especially ready-made frozen ones are typically fried in oil. These amazing tater tots are simple and baked in your oven. It's healthier for you.

Baked Tater Tots

Ingredients for 42 tater tots:
  • 4 russet potatoes (baked and cooled)
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Seasoning to taste: salt, pepper, onion powder

Directions: How to make tater tots in oven

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2. Grate the baked and cooled potatoes into a bowl. Add olive oil, and seasoning. Gently stir with a fork until everything is combined.

Step 3. Shape into tater tot form with your hands, and place them on a greased pan.

Step 4. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove them from the oven, and flip them over.

Step 5. Bake another 10 minutes. Turn them again, and bake one last time for 5-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Step 6. Sprinkle with salt, if necessary, and serve.
