Simple Garlic Cheese Biscuit Recipe

When it comes to snacking, I'm a big fan of cheese. Most of the time, I nibble on sharp-cheddar and it makes my afternoon. Every once in awhile, I get the urge to bake a quick hot snack such as cheese biscuit. I use Bisquick but you should be able to make it happen.

Here's what I do:

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Direction:

Preheat oven to 450 deg F.

In a medium stainless steel mixing bowl, add Bisquick, milk and cheese and mix until soft dough forms. Then beat vigorously for 30 seconds.

Stir in minced garlic. Spoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Mix margarine and garlic powder and brush over warm biscuits before removing from baking sheet. Makes 10-12 biscuits.

Best to eat biscuits while hot and fresh from the oven.
