Do you like bacon? I do and I try to cook with it as much as possible. Here's a good one that's good as an appetizer or a snack. I saw a picture of asparagus wrapped in bacon and thought how fun.
Bacon-wrapped AsparagusPreheat oven to 400 degrees. Then after washing and trimming the asparagus spears, simply wrap a piece of bacon on each using a toothpick to secure, if necessary. Leave the tips exposed so that your guests will see the asparagus. Lay the asparagus in a cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the bacon is cooked. Drain bacon oil by laying it on a plate covered with paper towel. Serve and enjoy.
- 12 pieces of bacon
- 12 individual asparagus spears
Just a note. If you don't have enough bacon to go around, you can just bundle multiple roasted asparagus with a single bacon.
